Farmers’ market finds | October 9, 2008

I needed some inspiration, so hit the co-op for some seasonal food finds.

I was craving tomatoes (since local ones won’t be available for much longer), and spotted some chantrelles and lobster mushrooms for future pasta meals. Shallots, garlic, pattypan squash and an eggplant also came home with me.

Oh, and an apple, to be added to the granny smiths from the store that’ll likely go into a crisp or cobbler or apple sauce (like Jill’s deliciousness).
